County Kudos!

On March 9, Justin (IT) and Abbie Munsters welcomed a son, Clinton Robert, measuring 7 pounds 5 ounces and 19 inches long. Congratulations Justin and Abbie!

Mason Robert was born October 12 to Chris (Equalization) and Sarah Van Horn. He weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and was 19 inches long.  Congratulations!

Congratulations to Kerri Brenner and Leticia Gonzalez, from the 58th District Court Probation & Community Corrections Department, for passing the Certified Criminal Justice Professionals exam.

Tina McConnell Passed the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Service Offerings and Agreement Certification test. ITIL is the worldwide de-facto-standard for IT service management and contains broad and publicly available professional documentation on how to plan, deliver and support IT services. Congratulations Tina!

The following IT Staff passed the ITIL Foundations Certification test: Neung Chau, Mary Ann Quellos, Pamela Bonstell, Michael Morrow, Justin Munsters, Marshall Boyd and Robert Royce. The IT department hosted training attended by these IT staff and eight additional participants from other organizations. The entire IT Staff has completed the ITIL Foundations class and certification. Congratulations to all!

Tamara S Holsinger RN BSN (Public Health) participated in the Michigan Make A Wish Foundation’s Wish A Mile 300. The “WAM” is a 3 day, 300 mile noncompetitive bicycle tour to raise funds to grant wishes for children in Michigan with serious and life threatening illnesses. Approximately 1,200 riders participated this year and each rider must raise a minimum of $900 in pledges. In 2013, the event generated over $2,050,000. Tamara started in Traverse City and made her way down the state ending at the Michigan International Speedway (MIS) in Brooklyn. Congratulations, Tamara, on giving to this great cause!
